Maybe you have met one or two before, but meeting these dudes usually comes few and far between, right? Well, while reading this story you’ll meet two Parkers, with the first one being Parker Inman of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the original owner of this monster of a 2019 Ford F-250 seen here. Back in 2019 (when he was only about 21 or so) he bought the truck and planned to have the original suspension system blasted apart and built back up again with all new parts and components to lift it high into the sky in hopes of creating a truly well-rounded, aggressive Ford pickup.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter Not only did Parker want his truck completely revamped and transformed into a certifiable beast, but he also dreamed of having it showcased at the biggest-scale show imaginable—SEMA 2019. Both goals are lofty, yes, but are very attainable with the right plan of action and talented cast of builders ready to shoot for the stars. Parker also recognized this whole process wouldn’t be cheap, so he aptly started referring to this truck as his “trust fund.” IT TAKES A CREW Parker was hopeful that a collaboration between designer and project manager Cris Payne of Truck Gurus and Joel Smith of Auto Definitions in Claremore, Oklahoma, would prove to be the winning combo for the success of his F-250. He got lucky. Joel’s shop specializes in custom fabrication, so reinventing a new suspension system for the truck was most definitely in his wheelhouse. To assist in first CAD designing the new chassis and then fleshing it all out, Joel’s colleagues Kenneth Sloan and Erik Long hopped aboard the project. Once they got started, there was no looking back. While a good deal of bolt-on suspension components are present underneath Parker’s Ford, it also has an equal amount of precision fabrication and artful welding that was sunk into this project to attain the 28-inch suspension lift. Highway 20 Collision of Claremore, Oklahoma, stepped in once it was all done to coat the chassis system in Candy Blue paint to make the fabrication handiwork really pop. There is definitely a lot to look at as far as the new suspension setup is concerned. From the RadFlo coilovers, chromed-out exhaust system, and all the one-off custom fab work, the fellas at Auto Definitions had a lot to celebrate about the progress thus far. The Roadwire leather seats make the clean factory interior super classy. To capitalize on the completely frame-off renovation, the guys selected a massive set of 30×16 American Force Sidewinder wheels that have been painted blue on the backside to blend in with the suspension works. These rollers definitely finished off the appearance of the F-250’s suspension just right, and the 42-inch Fury Country Hunter M/T tires fit in perfectly. With wheel and tire upgrades as substantial this, the guys knew that the factory braking system was not up to the task of stopping the truck as smoothly and quickly as before they were added. To combat this issue, Wilwood rotors and custom steel braided lines were incorporated into the build to make damn sure to maintain a proper balance of good looks and reliable function and performance. While on the topic of performance, the factory Power Stroke 6.7L diesel engine was given the royal treatment in the way of a 64mm BD Diesel Performance turbocharger. Parker could now spool up and roll coal exactly how he imagined, and he was looking forward to taking full advantage of the extra power. Michael Johnson of Claremore, Oklahoma, is responsible for the installation of the turbo, as well as throwing in Industrial Injection fuel injectors, FASS fuel filtration system, and a few other performance products to make driving this big, bad F-250 much more exciting. SKY HIGH ATTITUDE With Parker’s Ford standing tall and looking tough, there was still some room left for improving upon its rugged appearance. At the front end, blacked out Morimoto LED headlights were included, as was a hardcore grille with an integrated light bar from Royalty Core. A Fusion bumper loaded with Rigid Industries pod lights were also bolted up to drastically change up the demeanor of the truck’s front side. The rear also features a Fusion bumper with LED lighting, and each wheelwell features enough rock lights to turn nighttime driving into one hell of an illuminated road show of the truck’s impressive undercarriage. The hood and tailgate have been adorned with just enough custom paintwork in the form of subtle pinstriped details expertly applied by the steady hands of Willie Fidler. While this F-250 didn’t necessarily require the inclusion of loud paint to garner attention from the masses, the mostly factory appearance helps in accentuating the crew’s reimagined façade. Inside the cab, the factory front and rear seating were strategically covered in Roadwire black leather skins featuring blue stitching for the right touch of contrast. Code Zero Customs in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then stealthily tucked Kicker audio components underneath the rear seats so Parker could enjoy a well-balanced audio signal without having to worry about stumbling over the amps that were making it all happen. THE SECOND PARKER The truck did get finished in time to debut at SEMA 2019 in Fusion Bumpers’ booth. While Parker felt very fulfilled after achieving both of the goals he set for his truck, he did feel it was time to release his prized F-250 to another buyer, which is where the second Parker finally enters the story. Parker Yates, of Yukon, Oklahoma, bought the truck and is now the truck’s official new caretaker. Joel of Auto Definitions was asked to continue with making the Ford the best show truck it can be, and it will still be registered in as many events as its new owner can make time to attend. Even though this F-250 has been completed for a brief stretch of time, it still turns heads and commands closer inspection wherever it shows up.
