Just outside of Guadalajara is three-quarter-mile tri-oval racetrack called Trióvalo Bernardo Obregón. Based in the town of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, Mexico, near the Laguna de Cajititlán and Guadalajara International Airport in the Guadalajara metropolitan area. This event had enthusiasts coming from all over Mexico to show up and show out. Truck clubs and solo riders from Zacatecas, Nuevo León, Jalisco, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, and more made the drive, with more than 750 trucks attending! the last time Street Trucks was invited to hit a show south of the border, it was an eye-opening experience filled with killer builds, new friends, and a thriving custom truck culture. So, when word came down the pipe about another show located in a separate part of the amazing country that is Mexico, we knew we had to be there with cameras in hand. The entire time we were at this amazing show, people came up excited for Street Trucks to be there. We spent time catching up with old friends, and everyone was eager to show off their new builds or mods so you, the reader, could be as impressed as we were. Hospitality was second to none, and so much food and drinks were offered that it made it tough to walk around after being stuffed, but we managed!Subscribe to our weekly newsletter The dedicated team that put on the Mexico Truck Invasion was ecstatic to have us come, and we’re excited to reach these markets. The origin of this show comes from seeing the truck culture rise in popularity throughout the world and wanting to have a show of their own to spotlight their scene. The amount of love and support shown that day to us will be tough to reciprocate. Each and every time we visit, we are assured that coming to Mexico will always prove worthwhile and something we will not skip year over year. We simply cannot wait to see what happens next with our neighbors down south, and we will be eagerly checking our inbox for the next invite!
