Led by the 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, the Sierra EV offers uncompromising pickup capability, a GM-estimated 400 miles of range on a full charge, and unique features made possible only by its dedicated EV truck platform.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter “This is the Denali of EVs—and a truck that is every bit a GMC,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC. “That means it leaves nothing on the table when it comes to hauling, towing, and overall power while unlocking even more possibilities around what a GMC pickup can offer.” GMC will be the only brand to offer three all-electric trucks, with the Sierra EV joining the popular GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV. Underpinning these three trucks is GM’s groundbreaking Ultium Platform, which enables incredible versatility and optimal performance in an all-electric truck. The 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 will be available at launch in early 2024. GMC will introduce the Sierra EV AT4 and Elevation trims in the 2025 model year. The 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1’s Ultium battery pack enables its GM-estimated driving range of 400 miles on a full charge. It is also a structural element of the vehicle, which contributes to its overall strength, durability, and performance. Furthermore, the placement of the battery pack lowers the truck’s center of gravity while enhancing ride comfort and driving confidence on and off the road. Front and rear electric-drive units channel a GM-estimated 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque to the wheels via an e4WD system in Max Power mode, giving the truck exceptional traction and capability in almost every driving scenario. Deliveries of the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 are expected to begin in early 2024, with a starting MSRP of $107,000 (plus DFC). Further details for the full range of Sierra EV models will be announced closer to the start of production, with MSRPs starting around $50,000 (plus DFC). Toyota Tundra Reaches New Heights with TRD 3-inch Lift Kit The all-new Toyota Tundra is raising the bar once more with a newly available 3-inch lift kit developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) that makes the already-capable full-size pickup bigger and bolder. This new lift kit is available nationwide as a dealer-installed option, and it’s the only Toyota-approved lift kit designed to work with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) system. Bilstein monotube shocks and TRD red coil springs are tuned by TRD, much like the tried-and-true dealer-installed lift kit available on the Tacoma mid-size pickup that debuted last year. The shocks feature digressive pistons to provide low-speed body control as well as exceptional high-speed stability. Forged upper control arms from Detroit-based Roush Performance are equipped up front. These stronger UCAs complement the additional suspension travel given with the lifted suspension. The Tundra TRD lift kit includes all the necessary hardware and is only available for dealer installation. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the kit is $3,995, not including installation labor. It is available for model year 2022 and newer Tundra iFORCE and iFORCE-Max 4×4 models with either the 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed. The kit is not compatible with the TRD Pro, TRD Sport, or trucks equipped with the optional Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or air suspension. Ringbrothers Unveils “ENYO 1948” Chevrolet Super Truck Ringbrothers, the world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its most extreme creation yet, the “ENYO” super truck. The new build is paradoxical to traditional American truck capabilities. The 1948 Chevrolet pickup is the result of over 10,000 thorough and laborious build hours. Powered by a Goodwin 1,000-horsepower tall-deck racing engine and crafted using extensive carbon-fiber components, ENYO embodies the quality and custom work Ringbrothers is known for. The racing-inspired drivetrain is equipped with a 510-cubic-inch tall-deck engine built by Todd Goodwin producing 1,000 horsepower with Kinsler eight-stack injection, a Holley fuel management system, and a Bowler Performance Corvette torque-tube 4L80 automatic transaxle. To ensure the massive power is transferred to the ground for maximum grip and performance, ENYO features a cantilever-independent suspension at all four corners with Ohlins shocks. The open-wheeled truck sits on custom Porsche 911 pin-drive wheels by HRE Wheels and both track and street wheels are included with the installed Nuke Performance air jack system facilitating quick swaps. Big Brembo GTS M6 brakes with six-piston calipers provide stopping power. Atop the one-off chassis designed by Scott Ahlman, Ahlman Engineering, in conjunction with Roadster Shop, is the original 1948 steel cab extensively modified by Ringbrothers. Through careful craftsmanship, it is narrowed and chopped by 4 inches, lengthened, and wedge cut. The remaining body pieces are constructed in 3K-weave carbon fiber, including a single-piece carbon-fiber belly pan spanning from front to back. ENYO’s modernization doesn’t stop at its engine. Ringbrothers implemented power windows, a custom stainless steel gas tank by Rick’s Tanks, a Vintage Air Gen II compact air-conditioning system, and a custom interior collaboration with Upholstery Unlimited and Gemini Technology Systems. The open truck bed stages all the components needed to run this beast, and the clamshell hood is easily opened with electromagnetic latches. The side pipes are made from 58 feet of titanium pie-cut welds and are connected to the shining one-off custom headers. Every part of ENYO is created to show its impeccable design and performance capabilities.
