UPDATED | THE 2019 SHOW SEASON

Be Prepared and Make Plans Now

An abundance of amazing car/truck shows happen all across the United States every year. Because our magazine is not currently as thick as a phone book, we can only list a few of our favorites and some of the most popular from years past. If you were to hit a majority of these shows across our great nation, or at least the ones in your area, we can promise you will not be disappointed. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page, Instagram and website for other shows we will be covering as the year goes on. We love catching up with and hearing from our builders and readers alike.

JANUARY

The Grand National   Roadster Show

Jan. 25-27 • Fairplex in Pomona • 1101 West McKinley Ave. • Pomona, CA 91768

The Grand National Roadster Show is now in its 70th year. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is the longest running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona for the 16th consecutive year, over 500 show vehicles will compete for awards inside the Fairplex buildings. Another 400-800 vehicles will join the event Saturday and Sunday for the 14th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In.

FEBRUARY

Lone Star Throwdown

Feb. 22-24 • Lone Star Expo Center & Montgomery County Fairgrounds • 9255 Airport Road • Conroe, TX 77303

LST has become one of the most prestigious shows in the United States. Expect everything from mass amounts of SEMA builds to first time debuts and quality builds of every dynamic. This Texas show shuts the gates at around 2,000 vehicles; register for the show and your hotels ASAP, people. It sells out. Also, be prepared for another impressive corral setup by AMERICAN FORCE again this year; those guys don’t play around.

MARCH

Orange Beach Invasion

March 15-17 • The Wharf • 23101 Canal Road • Orange Beach,
AL 36561

Spring break on the Gulf Coast—what else could you want?! Located on Orange Beach, this show is known for one of the most beautiful show setups you could ask for, as well as having all the perks that Orange Beach brings along with it. Plus, spring break weekend means you can seem like quite a parent taking your kids on a trip, when in reality it is all about seeing your friends. Be sure to stick around for all the night life this show has to offer as well!

Forbidden Fantasy

March 29-31 • Avi Hotel & Casino • 3028 Soledad Drive • Laughlin, NV 89029

No, this is not an adult superstar convention; although you may get “lucky” and see Mike Alexander get a little bit too wild one of those nights. Forbidden Fantasy is one of those shows that goes without saying that it will be a good time. Nevada shows don’t play around; just go to it. Genuinely, there are no good excuses to miss it. Side note, the hotel and casino layout is insane perfect for kicking back and having some post-show fun.
