Tailgate Cruise | Cruising the Miami Streets with Chucksee

If you’re a long-time reader and avid enthusiast, you know the quality of build Chucksee has introduced to the scene over the past few years. A mix of classic and modern is his style and a south Florida laid-back attitude is his modus operandi. With that reputation, you’re bound to make some elite friends in the same community where you thrive, so why not utilize that influence and organize a cool truck cruise with your cool truck friends? And that’s how the tailgate cruise was created. A few phone calls, some text messages and even a few Instagram PMs are all it took for a large group of custom trucks to gather at the historic Wynwood District in Miami.

Known for its many colorful murals, Wynwood is one of the city’s most happening art districts in South Florida. Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world’s best-known street artists. The surrounding streets have converted warehouses housing craft breweries and funky art galleries. A hip young crowd frequents the neighborhood’s chic clothing boutiques, stylish bistros and late-night bars, making it the perfect spot for some custom classic trucks!

This was the first event for Chucksee, but with the vibe we received throughout the weekend, we promise this will be an annual event we won’t miss. Check them out online and keep checking back for next year’s dates. Hope to see you out there!
