Another year, another unforgettable Sparks in the Ozarks event! Richard Bruner and the Definite Obsession crew brought the heat once again for the 19th annual event, and it didn’t disappoint. This October weekend, the small town of Noel, Missouri, usually home to around 1,800 people, transformed into a buzzing hub for the custom car and truck scene, with locals and out-of-towners packing the River Ranch Resort. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter With over 1,700 spectators and more than 350 rides rolling through the gates, Sparks delivered everything from slick lowriders to powerhouse builds, all set against the Ozarks’ fall backdrop. Three full days of action kept everyone busy, starting with killer music and vendors slinging everything from custom pinstriping by Gooch Freehand to gear from Hammerd and Tuckn’ Clothing. There was no shortage of options to keep fans repping the culture. Camping out at Sparks has become a tradition, with groups locking down sites and throwing fireside get-togethers late into the night. With 50+ campsites to choose from, it was easy to see why so many people make a weekend out of it, kicking back with friends and soaking in the scene. Saturday night saw Main Street turn into an epic legal drag strip, with Noel PD backing the action. It was loud, rowdy, and exactly the kind of thrill you want from a custom car show. And, as always, the event gave back to the community with donations going to support the local Noel Fire Department. If you missed Sparks in the Ozarks 2024, you better start planning for 2025. Richard and his crew keep raising the bar, and we’re already counting down the days till they light up the Ozarks once again. Get more info on next years event at SparksInTheOzarks.com.
