But not the crew from Showdown in the Valley. Shane, Mitchell, and Chris have been attending truck shows forever, so they weren’t new to how it all worked when they sat down and decided to throw a brand-new show in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. I know what you’re thinking: When you have a ton of time to plan and organize, drawing a crowd to a show isn’t a big deal. Well, this crew didn’t want to wait and promote the show for a year or more; instead, they decided stress was something they were OK with. The guys contacted the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds and when they found out there was a fall weekend available due to another event backing out, they immediately booked it.
