Automotive Design has remained at the forefront of restoring the beautiful British off-road icons as a result of evolution and continuous innovation since being founded in 2013. Every bespoke truck built by E.C.D. is incredibly unique. Each one, no matter how simple, sleek, and refined, never fails to draw more attention than the prevalent cookie-cutter truck that is the Mercedes G-Wagon.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter Project Ghost is the newest custom Defender 110 delivered by E.C.D. Automotive Design. Its name is certainly no reflection of the truck itself, as Project Ghost goes anything but unseen. The exterior is painted in a beautiful Aston Martin original color, China Grey. The absence of the popular full external roll cage and checker-plating found on many of E.C.D. Automotive Design’s other vehicles, give Project Ghost and incredibly sleek, refined look. On the interior, Project Ghost is fully upholstered in premium Italian Spinneybeck leather. The color chosen by the client looks similar to the Aston Martin China Grey exterior. The simplicity of the matching interior and exterior works brilliantly well on this custom Defender 110. From the inside, you’d never feel as though you were sitting in a British off-road classic as there is certainly no shortage of modern features and technology such as wireless charging, in-vehicle WiFi, and rear air controls for passengers. This is the iconic off-road 4×4 that people desire when they aren’t interested in seeing several vehicles just like theirs in the car lot of their local country club.
