Total Cost Involved recently launched its new C10 chassis lineup that spans several C10 gens and chassis options. Spanning from 1963 through the 1987 squares, TCI has been in the chassis and suspension game for decades. Over-engineering is its specialty, and that’s just what the company did with three new full-chassis solutions.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter PRO TOURING CHASSIS Spanning from 1963 through the 1987 squares, TCI has been in the chassis and suspension game for decades. Over-engineering is its specialty, and that’s just what the company did with three new full-chassis solutions. Check them out! The Rundown TCI is proud to offer three new and complete 1963 through 1987 Chevrolet C10 chassis options. The Grounded chassis, the Classic chassis, and the Pro Touring chassis. These brand-new frames include all-new front and rear suspension. Simply take off the cab and bed of your truck, set them up on the TCI chassis of your choice, and you’re ready to roll! These three unique frame options are all laser cut and jig-welded for the utmost precision and strength. In the front, TCI widened the frame to allow more room for headers and steering components. In the rear, the company narrowed the frame to allow for outboard-mounted shocks and wider wheel/tire options. Whichever style you choose, in the front is TCI’s trusted and track-proven Pro Touring IFS system, which is designed as a compact and heavy-duty coilover suspension system to give you maximum performance on or off the track. The Pro Touring IFS features tubular control arms, coilovers, and rack-and-pinion steering along with custom modular spindles to provide plenty of brake options. CLASSIC CHASSIS The Grounded chassis includes all-new front and rear airbag suspension. When aired out, it allows you to lay the frame on the ground with 29-inch-tall front and rear tires. Fully aired up, the chassis boasts a max ground clearance of 8 inches with minimal camber change. When aired down it provides that aggressive 4-inch ride height that every low-fiend craves! In the rear, there are two different coilover suspension choices based on your needs and preferences. Both of these replace the outdated and underperforming truck arm suspension that’s seen on factory C10 frames. The first is a torque arm suspension that eliminates binding while featuring the TCI Engineering slider mount at the front of the arm that rotates and telescopes as the truck goes through its range of motion. The second option is a performance-orientated 4-link suspension with adjustable link bars. GROUNDED CHASSIS Either rear suspension system will provide you with a comfortable ride heading down to the burger joint while performing exceptionally on the autocross or drag strip. No matter which one you choose, you’re able to adjust the ride height to fine-tune your personal preference and performance needs. No matter which rear suspension system you choose, both come with a complete Currie 9-inch rearend. The housing is fabricated in-house for maximum strength to give your truck the ultimate in reliability. The rear can be built for your exact specifications from stock width to shortened for your large rear wheel applications and more. Warranties Aplenty The icing on the cake is that all TCI Engineering products come with not just one, but two warranties. The first is a six-year, 60,000-mile warranty on wear and tear items such as bushings, coilovers, and ball joints. The second is for any item built in-house by TCI Engineering, such as link bars, control arms, spindles, and crossmembers. They all come with TCI’s famous lifetime warranty for years of worry-free performance.
