OUR LIFESTYLE | a short piece from Jason Ballard

Here at Street Trucks, we continue to showcase the top mini-trucks in the scene. Minis have been around and customized since the ’70s! Like with anything, each decade has a defined style and that is no different with mini-trucks. The ’80s were filled with radical mods and static drops. The ’90s were dominated by graphics, ‘bags, body-drops, and billets. During the two decades between 2000-2020, stock floor body-drops, including full custom frames, became the norm with even bigger billet wheels! How will minis be defined in the ’20s?
Current trends are leading back to simpler times. No surprise there as history tends to repeat itself. Mini-truckers have no doubt set many standards that are now the norm. I have a feeling we will continue to set many more! Until the next issue of Street Trucks, checkout Our Lifestyle Podcast which is a truck inspired show. Stay On Da Rise! ODB
Thanks,
Jason Ballard
