New Truck News | Supercharged F-150 Raptor R, This Jeep Gladiator Looks Armageddon-Ready, and The Possibility of an Electric Tundra

The Raptor R has been spotted and it sounds awesome even when it’s not roaring

Ford F-150 Raptor R

The world is waiting to hear about the upcoming Ford F-150 Raptor R after Ford announced it at the standard third-gen Raptor’s debut. It was only a matter of time before we would get glimpses of it, and that time has come. A video clip of the truck was uploaded to YouTube and you can see it in flesh wrapped in camouflage. While Ford managed to hide the design elements to an extent, they couldn’t keep the beast silent. You can hear the supercharged beast grunting here, and even at idle, it sounds so good. Can you at least release some audio clips of it, for the time being, Ford?

The California-based company has come up with a build of its own. It doesn’t look as monstrous as the others and is actually one of the cleanest builds we’ve seen.

An Electric Toyota Tundra? It Could Happen Sooner Than You Think

Toyota has finally confirmed electrification plans for its truck lineup and we have a hunch it’ll start with the Tundra

The truck segment is prepping for electrification at an unimaginable pace, courtesy of specialist EV companies like Tesla and Rivian. Mainstream car brands are also throwing their hats in the ring (like they have any other option!), and the latest one to do so is Toyota. The automaker confirmed that the company is planning to electrify its truck lineup. This is the first time the Japanese automaker has spoken about pickup truck electrification. There’s no word on which truck gets the ion shot first, but whichever it is, expect it to come sooner than expected.
