Second Time’s a Charm
Many of us have waited a long time for a car show to return to Joplin, Missouri. Some remember an event named SOL. It brought in mini-truckers from around the country for a weekend of shenanigans that may or not have gotten a little too wild and crazy.
When I heard Keg Media was throwing Mother Road Mayhem—brought to us by the same folks behind the Orange Beach Invasion and Lifted Truck Nationals—I wasted no time getting booked for the weekend. A small-town vibe with big city rides, the show was going to be awesome.
Route 66 Parade
Ranging from mini-trucks to classic hot rods, full-painted chassis lifted rides to clean daily drivers, this show had a healthy mix of custom sprinkled across the showgrounds. And all of them jumped in line for the Route 66 parade after the show on Saturday.
They’re setting the bar even higher for themselves and looking to make next year even better. So take your time, and scroll through the rides and candid shots from the weekend.
