Moonshine Valley F-100’s Event Coverage

Hundreds Gather Again in Maggie Valley, NC 

We recently returned to the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds for the sixth annual Moonshine Valley F-100s show, a Surfboard Promotions event hosted by promoter Rodney Buckner. On the Thursday before the opening of the show, an organized cruise along the Blue Ridge Parkway was an awesome way to see the local scenery and some nice rides.

Once the show opened on Friday morning, the town of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, came alive. This year, 100-plus trucks competed for Top 50 awards and, of course, Best of Show. Maggie Valley has plenty of tourist attractions for those who weren’t from the area, including the Wheels Through Time Museum of Discovery Channel fame. And don’t forget Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, which is just 20 minutes away. Plan on attending another great F-100 show and the little town that comes alive every year for the next Moonshine Valley F-100s Show.
