Living the Life and Printing the Passion

IT’S PROBABLY AROUND JUNE RIGHT NOW AS YOU’RE READING THROUGH THIS MOST RECENT ISSUE OF STREET TRUCKS MAGAZINE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S ONLY ABOUT FIVE MONTHS LEFT BEFORE WE HIT THE ROAD TO DOCUMENT THE CROSS-COUNTRY “SHAKEDOWN” TOUR ALL THE WAY TO FABULOUS LAS VEGAS FOR THE 2019 SEMA SHOW.

The tour kicks off at National Parts Depot in Ocala, Florida, on Oct. 30 as we head to the first stop of our trip, Bayou Garage in Lafayette, Louisiana. As we arrive, a full-blown show and shine cruise-in event will be under way at their location. Everyone is invited, so get your rides ready if you’re in the area. Bayou Garage will be filming for their YouTube channel, as well as other media outlets that are attending.

After a good night of sleep, and undoubtedly some wrench turning throughout the night, we plan to hit the road the next morning and head straight to Painless Performance in Ft. Worth, Texas, for stop number two. Once again, Painless will host a cruise-in show and shine event that we hope you will attend. This will be Halloween night, so bring the kids out for a night of trunk or treat. If you’re in the area, we insist you come out and meet us for some good times, cool cars and free candy!

THIS TRIP WILL BE A TESTAMENT TO THE SIX BUILDERS THAT WE WILL BE TESTING THEIR TALENTS IN THE MOST GRUELING WAY POSSIBLE.

Day number three will be an eight-hour trip over to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the destination will be determined later this year.

The final leg of their four-day tour will leave us in Las Vegas at the all new FLO Airride headquarters. The fine crew at FLO will be hosting a SEMA pre-party event to cap off the tour—and everyone is invited, even you!

This trip will be a testament to the six builders that we will be testing their talents in the most grueling way possible. Are you planning a trip to SEMA? Why not jump on their tour and ride along? You never know what you’re going to see along the way. Looking to get involved? Check them out www.shakedowntour.com.
