No matter how you get there, or if you bring a show vehicle, LST is a show that enthusiasts of all forms should not miss. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter Based in Conroe, Texas, this show just completed its 9th year of excellence and growth. A show that started with humble beginnings, LST now sets attendance records—including car and spectator count—as well as pulling in vehicles and attendees from all corners of the nation and even other countries. Year after year, the show organizers have been selling out pre-registrations long before the show date, and they actually chose to put a limit on how many vehicles they will let into the showgrounds now that it is so popular. Yes, these guys care more about a smooth-running, enjoyable show for everyone there than squeezing every single truck they can fit in for a profit, which is pretty cool if you ask us! A show that started with humble beginnings, LST now sets attendance records—including car and spectator count— as well as pulling in vehicles and attendees from all corners of the nation and even other countries. In addition, all types of vehicles are welcome, from trucks to cars to bikes, and you will see every type of each category as well, even SEMA builds from months before. Plus, build owners are allowed to cruise the loop of the show grounds all day during the show, which gives them a fun way to explore the event while showing off their ride heights, from sky high to dragging those frames and skating. This year, the event was held Feb. 21-23 at the Lone Star Expo Center, where it held 2,351 show/vendor vehicles and welcomed more than 24,000 spectators through the gates. Though it rained here and year the last few years, attendees were ecstatic with this year’s phenomenal weather. The mellow and sunny 60-degree temperatures were the best thing any of us could have asked for to enjoy the weekend. Sponsors like Kicker, Drop Em Wear, American Force, Slosh Tubz, Phat Phabz and QA1 gave this show a strong backing. In addition to all that, LST always features some of the coolest and most unique high-quality awards we have ever seen. They’re designed and machined by Phil Cholette, who creates some incredible billet masterpieces. (We’re surprised he can let go of once they are completed!) To make a long story short, go to this show! Put it in your calendar for Feb. 26-28, 2021, book your rooms now and be ready to reserve your spot as soon as you are able.
