Letter From The Editor- Chris Hamilton

Living the Life and Printing the Passion

It’s About Time! I’m sure most of you have said this at least once during a custom truck build. Whether it was finally getting a part in the mail you were waiting on, a call from that painter who has been avoiding you for a few months, or, like in our case, finishing a truck that has been years in the making.

Sergeant Square has been the epitome of custom truck builds and an experience we won’t soon forget. From wrong parts to exploiters of opportunity, we ran across it all, but we finally crossed the finish line with an amazing build. You will see the final outcome in the next issue of Street Trucks, and we will all watch the culmination of all the hard work come to fruition on 4th of July Weekend 2024 as we list this truck on the Bring a Trailer auction house website, where it will be sold with 100% of the proceeds donated to Mission 22.

In this issue, we knock out the final piece of the puzzle by installing the Gen 5 Vintage Air system, so whoever buys this amazing C10 will feel as cool as they look. Aside from that, we documented our trips to Goodguys Texas and the Spring Rod Run in Daytona Beach so you can see what the most recent trends are in the world of custom trucks. As far as vehicle features, this issue is stuffed with all types of truck stories, including the next level International you first saw on the cover. That’s followed up by some worthy page-turners from the best brands, including Ford and Chevy, lifted and lowered.

It’s another stunner on stands nationwide, so sit back, kick your feet up, and get inspired by the blood, sweat, and tears spilled by a group of gearheads just like you and me. Want to show us what you’re working on? Email me at chamilton@engaged.media and give us the goods!
