FULL event coverage from Last Resort 2022

Presented by Kustomz Ink Klothing

As the show season wound down for the year, Stuart Daigle and his crew were just winding up for what is considered the best show in Louisiana. Although Last Resort is in its 15th year, I have only been on board for Last Resort for five of the last six years covering this event. The one thing that I’ve noticed is the passion and dedication not only from the show staff but also from each and every participant. At every look, you’ll see families, pets, and–since it’s so close to Halloween–costumes and candy. This year was one of the biggest years yet, logging over 480 registrations and over 1,000 spectators inside the very spacious Louisiana Oil & Gas Park in Jennings, Louisiana, on October 21-23.

Presented by Kustomz Ink Klothing, also known as K.I.K., Last Resort had a full team of sponsors including Jeff Davis Parish Tourism Commission, the City of Jennings, Viair, Twisted Addictionz, Verret Motorsports, Southside Custom Automotive, Explicit Concepts, CNG Auto Tinting, The Devil’s Rejects, and Beard’s Renovations. Some exciting vendors at Last Resort offering goods and services were Gooch Custom Pinstriping, which also made the Best Of awards, Sunday Funday, Garage Gear, Grinder TV, Kustom Life, LoGear Clothing, Modified Clothing, Eggrollin Hut, Fire House, The Filling Station, Spurs, Cowboy Cones, Inspired Lifestyle Coloring Book, and Crazeify Nutrition.

With a weekend of events that included a Friday night Hospitality Night and Dat Band Tho performing live music, Last Resort set the stage for Saturday’s club games and pizza eating contest. As Saturday wrapped up, Halloween events began with decoration, club camps, and trick or treating throughout the entire show. Saturday night brought a wild and crazy after-party with adult-themed costumes and more live music. As Sunday rolled around, some top awards were given to Explicit Concepts for Club Participation, and a debut Chevy Colorado owned by Jake Raleigh grabbing the Best Paint award. A special surprise award was given to Stuart for giving so much back to the community and culture over the past 15 years.

Stuart and his hard-working staff wish to thank his family and friends for all the years of support, and the sponsors and vendors for always coming back. A special thanks goes to the car and truck participants and spectators for raising Last Resort to even higher grounds and breaking standards year after year.
