This week we’re really cutting into our Tesla Swapped C10 Squarebody’s Cab! We’re starting the unibody fabrication for our C10 build, and helping secure that Tesla Model 3 battery in place. Mikey is cutting and laying out the pattern for our cab floor so Donny can bolt it down to the battery and weld it in place. This will give us better road feel when pushing this truck to the limits. We’re also giving ourselves a little extra space in the cab of this 1985 squarebody; cutting out the dash and a few other bits and pieces for some more leg room! And of course, a truck isn’t a truck without a bed! So we’re modifying our donor truck bed so that it can fit over the c-channel of our rear subframe, because when you’re slamming a C10 all the way to the ground, stock just won’t cut it. Tesla swapped or not. By the end of this video, this build is beginning to look like the drift truck we’ve been dreaming of!
