The only way to start off the 2025 show season is Eastbound Getdown presented by Fenix Forged, in Ormond Beach, Florida. In their fourth year, EBGD has continued to grow and impress in all aspects. Over 500 vehicles entered the Destination Daytona Complex with over 1,000 spectators in attendance, enjoying the near perfect weather. Show promoters Mike & Shannon Murray along with John and Kim Lopez made sure there was enough entertainment throughout the weekend. Freaks of Nature and Negative Camber battled it out and combined for over 8,000lbs of dog food and raised over $8,000 for Sophies Circle, a local non-profit dog rehoming shelter. The major sponsors were Fenix Forged, Stingray Chevrolet, Low Rider Depot, TTP and Sledz Custom.
DJ Maze played music from Friday to Sunday and Friday night TTP Automotive Service and Performance sponsored the pre-party at Saints & Sinners Bar & Grill. On Saturday the hard-working crew were able to get every vehicle judged. An auction was held at the main stage with hand-painted skate decks that raised money for local charities. “We had the best show and the weather cooperated,” Mike Murray tells Street Trucks, “We want to thank everyone for the support and we cant wait to see everyone at the next Getdown.”
