Cruising, Shows, and Gatherings: Embracing the End of the Year in the Automotive Community

Ahh, the year is coming to an end. They say time flies when you’re having fun. For many of us, the end of the year means cooler weather, daylight saving time ending, different seasons approaching, and the holidays on the horizon. The holidays are not earmarked just for family time. They are a time for friends, colleagues, co-workers, club mates, and anyone else in your life you enjoy spending time with.

I’ve noticed automotive enthusiasts around the world continually come together on several occasions, including cruising. This made me think, is there any better or well known club activity than cruising? Let’s also include displaying rides at a show, as that is also a staple in the automotive club culture. In my opinion, cruising, displaying at a show, and getting together at a central location or a friend’s house are the top three activities for clubs.

Anyways, over the next couple of months I encourage you to enjoy the time with the people closest to you and get ready for 2024. I’m hearing it will be an unreal year as it relates to the truck scene, so you better buckle up!

Until next time, stay “on da rise.” Jason “ODB” Ballard.
