Honoring the Journey: Reflections from an Industry Insider

Info From an Industry Insider

Street Trucks enthusiasts, SEMA has passed and cooler weather is in the forecast. We’re moving into the holiday season, and I encourage everyone to spend time with family and loved ones. As we get older, it seems like we continue to see our friends, family, and colleagues within our various hobbies journey to the afterlife.

Since my last column, news broke that Rob “Rabbit” Pitts @rob_pitts passed away due cancer. You may have known Rabbit from various YouTube videos he was featured on or from the hit Netflix show Tex Mex Motors. Either way, he was a memorable and lively individual. This brings me back to my point of spending time with those you care about. That could entail wrenching in the garage, cruising to a show across the country, or hopping on a plane to visit a faraway destination.

Whether it is truck-related or something else, spend time with those you care about. In the words of the late Steve Jobs: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” I know Rabbit lived his dreams and I was happy to see his success. RIP Rabbit!

Until next month, keep pushing forward on your projects and don’t forget to check out Our Lifestyle Podcast (OLP) for more truck-inspired content.

Stay On Da Rise!
Peace, Jason ODB.
