Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals – EVENT COVERAGE

In many places a year ago, we had no shows, weren’t allowed to congregate and didn’t know if it would be safe to do so again. While this has changed—and the Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals came and went without incident—we’re still living with uncertainty and a degree of fear. Events are happening every weekend from coast to coast, yet mandates and protocols are in place depending on the venue, along with advice to get vaccinated if you haven’t done so already.

Expect that for promoters and organizers to be able to hold shows of any size and magnitude, the numbers of those infected need to come down. Protect yourselves and those around you. The community of enthusiasts to which we belong needs to do what we can to shield each other, despite what we may feel personally. As long as the disease continues to be transmitted to those who are susceptible, we have no idea how much longer the pandemic will last or if it will ever go away completely.

THE SUBURBAN’S MATCHING INTERIOR

Hopefully we’ll be able to continue covering shows like this Pacific Northwest Goodguys event throughout the rest of the season. Just as abruptly as everything ground to a halt more than a year ago, it could happen again, and we’ll be left to contemplate why. But being back out among other enthusiasts, talking about the vehicles we admire and enjoying everyone’s camaraderie is priceless, so let’s do what we can to prevent spread of COVID-19.

In the words of Queen:

“… Find the will to carry on with the show.

(The) Show must go on.”

FROM ITS LINGENFELTER-SUPERCHARGED LT4 TO A HOST OF OTHER DETAILS, THIS SUBURBAN’S A WINNER.
