2022 Nissan Frontier teased before full reveal this Thursday

Get a preview of the next-gen Frontier in PRO-4X trim

Both the 2022 Nissan Frontier and 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will be revealed this week, on Thursday, February 4. We got a Pathfinder teaser late last week, and now Nissan is doing the same with the Frontier.

There isn’t a whole lot to go off, but we get quick glimpses of the grille, rear fender, and upper cab in the quick six-second video. The grille is the most intriguing bit to look at. It’s all blacked-out with thick criss-crosses and two horizontal bars going through the center. Nissan’s new logo is displayed prominently in the upper part of the grille. Curiously, it’s not directly in the center, as Nissan is opting to position it at the top. We’ll note that this particular truck is a PRO-4X model, so the grille could be different from the other trims. The Nissan logo itself will certainly have different coloring, as the red accents within it are exclusive to PRO-4X trucks.

Next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor caught testing with Bronco Warthog in spy photos

It looks like it could share the Bronco’s suspension and powertrain

The next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor has been caught by one of our spy photographers, and these shots give us our best look yet at the off-road pickup. That’s thanks to the relatively mild camouflage draped over what looks like near-production body work. Not only that, but we get to see it out testing with the Bronco Warthog, which is great for comparison purposes, but also suggests that the two trucks may share a fair bit in common.

It’s quite obvious that this is the Ranger Raptor as the trademark “FORD” grille shows through the camouflage. It’s hard to make out much besides that other than the C-shaped headlights and more upright and broad-shouldered shape. It does bear resemblance to the Ranger photo leak from last February. We can also see a big and burly skidplate starting right at the bumper and wrapping down around the front subframe.

Florida man builds very Florida Jeep

Yes, it’s a Gladiator with six wheels and a Corvette engine.

The Jeep Gladiator is a very capable vehicle. As such, it can be considered cool, even if its overall aesthetic and design, strewn with knowing, winky easter eggs, falls just short of self-parody. Pole-vaulting way into the realm beyond parody is a custom Jeep Gladiator 6×6 built by an outfit called So Flo Jeeps.

As you may have deduced, the company is located in Florida, probably the south. We found the car on a site called James Edition, which bills itself as “The World’s Luxury Marketplace” and holds a slightly greater than 50 percent chance of being real.

The vehicle is referred to as the So Flo Jeeps SF 6x6G. Apparently, it’s powered by a 500-horsepower Chevy LS3 engine and custom axles and driveshafts that put power to all six wheels. The ad also states that it was built by cutting in half a 2020 Gladiator, as if that was a selling point. The words “unapologetic,” “aggressive” and “one-of-a-king” are also adjectives that appear in the copy. That’s sic without the k, bro.

The engine “propels the street-legal monster truck with 12,000ft/lbs. of tow capacity.” We hope the company’s building capabilities are better than its spelling, grammar and understanding of units of measurement. An aftermarket suspension adds a 5-inch lift, which helps give the truck a claimed 14 inches of suspension travel.
