Southern  Tradition Third Annual Custom Car and Truck Show!

The Georgia summer weather was hot, but the trucks were even hotter! The third annual Southern Tradition Car and Truck Show on July 13-14 brought in crowds from all over. With more than 215 entries, amazing custom cars, trucks and bikes filled the Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia. This two-day event was fun for the whole family. Even with the pandemic, tons of vendors and spectators came out to support the show.

Pig N Out BBQ was one of the main sponsors of the show and their BBQ did not disappoint! You could also grab an Italian ice from Arctic Ice to cool off while browsing the show. Drivn Clothing, Lay’N Licks and Howe’s It Doing Garage were just a few of the vendors set up for the weekend.

As the show came to a close on Saturday, everyone left the show grounds and went to the after party at the Canton Icehouse. Killer food, drinks, games, music and, of course, great company abounded at the after party. The sun rose on Sunday morning and everyone was ready for day two of this awesome show. A little car show getaway is what everyone needed during the pandemic. Everyone endured the heat to show their love for the scene.

Before everyone hit the road home, it was time for the awards. Top 40 awards were presented first. Congrats to Rob Ceely, Casey Therrell, Josh Ellis just to name a few. The “Best of” awards were up next: Best of Show went to Derrell Poe, Best Fab went to Brandon Burrell, Best Interior went to David Dkorver, Chick’s Ride went to Amanda Rieder, and Best Truck went to Alex Zurcher.

As the canopies were packed up and the vendors closed up shop, the weekend came to an end. Waka Frank, Heather Montgomery and the rest of the crew did an outstanding job with the show. Be on the lookout for the 2021 dates of the Southern Tradition Show!
