Showtime Bros. | 2015 F-350 SuperDuty Platinum

Show Time Metal Works (STMW) is an ultra-high-quality fabrication shop in Taylor, Texas, specializing in lifted and custom trucks for clients seeking the best. Owned and operated by two brothers, the shop offers an array of body modifications and accessories. The pair has staked their claim with original and unique designs, and their work has been extremely well received in industry media and shows across the nation, with an especially heavy influence in the lifted truck genre. Show Time has grown immensely in the last few years. Having first gained popularity in the local show circuit, they eventually transitioned to a full-scale fabrication business with product lines producing bespoke grilles and bumpers.

Dustin Naivar is one half of the duo responsible for the creation and success of STMW. Alongside his brother, he’s left a trail of innovative builds and products in his wake. One of Dustin’s accomplishments is this daily-driven ’15 F-350 SuperDuty Platinum. The build was featured at the 2015 SEMA Show as part of STMW’s display of new parts and to showcase the company’s skills. The F-350 also regularly makes the rounds of local shows and events. The truck has earned a very well deserved reputation for its clean styling, aesthetics and tough-as-nails quality.

Everything about Dustin’s truck is custom-built and begs for attention. Beginning with the suspension, the Ford’s factory leaf spring setup has been replaced with a 4-link coil-over design.  King 2.5-inch coil-overs with reservoirs provide the necessary dampening. The rear setup provides a full 12 inches of travel. At the bow sits a full STMW setup, including 16-inch front suspension, fabricated link bars and steering knuckle. Lift off is achieved via another pair of King coil-overs with reservoirs rated for 16 inches of travel. Each shock beneath the beast uses custom STMW-machined reservoir clamps. All of the suspension upgrades, as well as many other undercarriage modifications, were powder-coated in Crushed Silver Prismatic and Peeka Blue.

This angle really shows off the custom STMW grille with a 20-inch Rogue 4 LED light bar, custom STMW bumper sporting twin Rogue LED light bars and four cube LED lights.

Thanks to the expert services of Barret Wygant, the factory 6.7L V-8 plant makes an overwhelming 625 ponies and 975 ft-lbs of torque. The forced induction plumbing has been powder-coated in the truck’s signature Peeka Blue highlight.

The hand-fabbed stainless steel turbo piping received a dose of Peeka Blue to give the engine bay a mean and clean look befitting the rest of the ride.

Applying the face-melting amounts of torque are dual CVs from Driveshafts Unlimited in San Antonio. The front wheels are motivated by a factory Dana Super 60 front axle, while the rear uses a Yukon 10.5 modified to a 4.30 gear ratio. Rolling stock for the truck consists of 24×16-inch American Force two-piece wheels at all four corners. Mirror-polished and intimidating, the wheels are enveloped by Toyo MTs measuring 40×15.5xR24.

In addition to show-stopping power, suspension and rollers, Dustin’s Ford features a number of additional accessories and modifications that push the truck well beyond average. A completely custom-fabricated rear cross member houses a 5-gallon air tank, compressors and polished train horns. The custom cross member also provides mounting locations for the rear shocks. Everything has been powder-coated to match and has been tucked cleanly beneath the 8-foot truck bed.

AMP Research running boards add to the truck’s clean bodylines. Gold Standard Lighting projector headlights are custom etched with the STMW insignia. The underbody also bears custom lighting by way of six Rigid LED rock lights placed strategically around the suspension. Headlight bezels, mirrors, fender badges, bed caps, tailgate caps and oil filter have all been matched to the factory Ford Ingot Silver paint, while the suspension and engine mods complete the color scheme with their silver and blue custom accents. Finally, the body modifications were completed with a signature STMW grille, a 20-inch Rogue light bar, a bumper holding twin Rogue 4 dual row light bars and four cube LED fog lights.

This F-350 is a full-scale build that demonstrates exactly what the STMW crew is capable of achieving. From the ground up, Dustin’s truck is a testament to the passion, skill level and advanced styling that STMW has become well known for industry wide. The staggering contrast between the flawless silver paint, Peeka Blue highlights and the perfect amount of mirror-polished chrome creates a total experience worthy of the attention and success Dustin’s truck has drawn. We can’t wait to see what STMW has in store for us at this year’s SEMA Show.

When you opt for factory luxury like the Ford Platinum edition interior comforts, there’s not much needed to make it fit in with the rest of the high-end build.
